Today, I did a short main­te­nance to my MacBook running OS X Lion. I found out, Macfuse is no longer supported and dead as well. But there is OSXFUSE, which installs without any problems. OpenPGP does not work for Mail, too and since the release of Lion (that’s about two months ago) there is no GPG support. Really em­bar­rass­ing. After I’ve updated to Lion, I had iTunes and QuickTime, carefully removed, installed again and AppDelete was unable to remove it. I’ve updated to the last version and could remove this crappy software again – waiting for the next OS X update …weit­er­lesen.

Ja, ich fange jetzt auch schon wie alle anderen an. Aber wenigstens diskutiere ich nicht wie Heise täglich mögliche Gerüchte über mög­li­cher­wei­se kommende Geräte mit möglichen Features. Hier kommen Fakten!1

Also, gestern Abend Lion gekauft, aber natürlich vergessen, dass es sich nicht aus Luft und Liebe in­stal­liert, sondern gut 3,7 GiB groß ist. Tja, wöhnte ich noch in Berlin, hätte ich das in 10 Minuten geschafft, aber mit 800kb/s bin ich dann doch lieber erstmal schlafen gegangen. Am nächsten Morgen dann die In­stal­la­ti­on angeworfen, hat VIERZIG Minuten gedauert, deutlich über meinem Zeitrahmen und ich musste die In­stal­la­ti­on „un­at­ten­de­d” lassen. Mir war mulmig dabei.
